Mino Washi
Washi made from the water of the clear Nagara River, a bounty of nature in the mountainous country of Gifu, is a heartwarming culture that has been enjoyed in Japan since the Nara period (710-794).
These colorful handmade writing instruments are decorated with "elegant and beautiful" yuzen patterns, also known as chiyogami.
Each piece of Japanese paper is hand-rolled, coated with acrylic resin to protect it from dirt and water, and finished with UV-resin drying.
