We are a company that makes use of the local resources of Gifu, a country of mountains and clear streams, and plans and produces original miscellaneous goods to convey the charm of the region.
Utilizing the techniques and materials of traditional Japanese crafts, we mainly produce writing instruments and small miscellaneous goods in order to convey the gentleness of handmade products. Feel the warmth and fragrance of natural wood, a blessing of nature, and touch the elegant and beautiful Mino washi/Yuzen paper made with the clear water of the Nagara River.

Japanese brush craftsman (calligraphy brushes)
Traditional brush craft handed down from grandfather to third generation
Since I can remember, I have longed to be a brush craftsman, and after graduating from high school, I apprenticed myself to my uncle to learn. After graduating from high school, he apprenticed himself to his uncle and learned from him.
After changing jobs, he could not give up on the path of a craftsman, so he taught himself to make brush prototypes from scratch. One day, while searching the Internet for turning studies, he came across a single ballpoint pen, and pen making began.

Brand Creator
After working in the apparel industry for 25 years, I returned home to Gifu and found great value in working with traditional Japanese craftsmen to promote Gifu's local culture.
When I was a little girl, I used to visit Uesugi Lumber, the oldest lumber store in town. The smell of the wood calmed me. This feeling inspired me and became the starting point for our current product development.
We will continue to make use of local resources and continue to create products that convey the charm of the local area.
