[Deerskin/Inden] Ballpoint pen

"Shikashippi" (lacquered leather) is made by tanning the soft leather of the Muntjac deer and then painting various Japanese patterns with lacquer. It is a traditional craft that dates back to the Nara period, and has been loved for gently wiping musical instruments and wearing under armor. Around the Edo period, when war ceased, townspeople took advantage of the leather's soft and durable characteristics and made it into drawstring bags. (Known as Inden leather.) Shoemakers wrap and sew each piece of leather around it to make the bags.
Why not try picking up a traditional craft pen, one that you can treasure and enjoy as it changes over time with use?
