We are a company that plans and produces original sundries to promote the charm of Gifu, a mountainous country, by making the most of its local resources. We produce mainly writing implements and small sundries to convey the gentleness of handmade goods by utilizing traditional Japanese craftsmanship.
Mino Washi
Washi made with water from the clear Nagara River, a bounty of nature in the mountainous country of Gifu, is a heartwarming culture that has been enjoyed in Japan since the Nara period (710-794).
These colorful handmade writing instruments are decorated with "elegant and beautiful" yuzen patterns, also known as chiyogami.
Each piece of Japanese paper is hand-rolled, coated with acrylic resin to protect it from dirt and water, and finished with UV-resin drying.
